Abstract

The article is devoted to the 90th anniversary of birth of an important functionary of the international communist and working class movement, George Dimitrov. The author evaluates first of all his theoretical contribution to the ideology of Marxism-Leninism. He emphasizes the importance and process of elaboration of G. Dimitrov’s basic conception of the United and People's Front against the ascending fashism in the thirties of this century. The author pays attention to the fact that this conception is a theoretical generalization of the tremendous practical activity of G. Dimitrov as professional revolutionary. He points out the vitality of Dimitrov’s ideas even for today.
