Abstract
Practice in the system of marxist-leninist philosophy has the central position; by means of it and on the firm materialist basis a practical way of man’s self-creation can be revealed in the dialectics of the relation nature man. This is the way that is proper only to man as the objective — social, practical — transforming creature. By means of practice — namely thanks to Marx — the most essential aspect expressing the practical active assertion, the real process of development of man as ontocreative creature, and thus a creature of practice. Practice then expresses the way by which the human individual, resp. society, mankind, constitutes their objective relation to the surrounding world (i. e. to the natural being and to the social being); it can thus be asserted that practice is such a way of human being in which it is constituted as the being modificating nature and producing social reality.
