Abstract
Elucidating the topical problems of social revolution the author criticizes the one-sided aspects of reformism and anarchism, but also dogmatism and revisionism as they are manifested in the process of social revolution in the contemporary epoch, which opens new chances for the revolutionary movements of all nations:
1. to materialize the transition to socialism in any country regardless of the economic and social level in the time before the revolution and avoiding eventually the preceding economic stages and on the basis of the transitory, e. g. non-capitalist period for securing the development of forces of production,
2. to pass to socialism without a civil war by way of gradual moderate development of revolution while using non-violent means,
3. the exertion of democratic revolutions in industrially developed coutries, even if their objective situation leads to immediate socialist revolutionary change.
To make use of these unprecedented chances remains as a great task of the communist and working-class parties still fighting for the liberation of the working people of their countries.
