Abstract
The paper criticizes one aspect of the tendencies to revise the Marxist-Leninist philosophy in Czechoslovakia in the sixties — the existentialist-anthropologic revision. In the first part the author analyzes the substance of the existentialist-anthropologic revision of Marxist-Leninist philosophy both from the philosophical-theoretical aspect and from the aspect of its social-political effects. The second part of the paper deals with the criticism of the views of K. Kosik, who endeavoured to „make Marxism existentialist“, to enforce the bourgeois conception of Man in it in the most concentrated, most systematic and, from the philosophical-theoretical point of view, most elaborated way. In this view K. Kosik’s work „The Dialectics of the Concrete“ unites in itself the open tendency to implant the principles in Marxism that are alien to it (the influence of existentialism, the „critical theory“ of the Frankfurt school, the philosophy of the „Praxis“ group) and at the same time to eliminate the revolutionary core of Marxism-Leninism (the problems of classes, social struggle, social revolution etc.).
