Abstract

The process of forming the socialist consciousness of Man, being a long term and complicated process, requires a deep dialectical-materialist analysis of all its aspects. The author analyses some aspects of the dialectics of development of humanism and personality in the process of building up socialist society. He analyzes the role of knowledge, selfrealization, the principle of collectivism in forming the socialist consciousness of personality. In the end of the paper some basic starting points of Marxist conceptions of humanism and of personality are outlined in a brief review.
