Abstrakt

In the paper the relation of the pre-dialectical and dialectical conception of causality and main trends of its contemporary state are analyzed. In spite of the fact that the dialectical conception evidently overcomes qualitatively methodological and worldview shortcomings of the pre-dialectical conception in the theoretical aspect and in the practical impact, their contest cannot be considered as finished. The roots of this contest have not only gnoseological but also practical-social character.
