AU his revolutionary endeavour was inspired with the ideas and revolutionary heritage of the founders of Marxism. He developed it further in new historical conditions. Lenin particularly emphasized the fact that Marxism is not any sectarian and petrified thought but it is a central scientific theory and method of development of the world civilization. According to his words Marxist dialectic is an effective means to fight succesfully against a petrification of ideas, sophistic, and eclecticism. It facilitates to recognize exactly a puls of the time and solve its problems in creative way. There are applied, at different stages of Marxism-Leninism, various components of the thought in accordance with with requirements of socio-class practice. However, to Lenin it does not mean that we can whenever ignore some aspects of Marxism; it only implies that a prevalence of interest in some aspect does not depend upon subjective desires but upon a sum of historical conditions. A solution of any problem of the time must be based upon the analysis of a particular historical situation in its complexity. Lenin’s epochal work must be comprehended within concrete connections of the historical epoch in which he lived, created, and worked. We shall not understand him adequately if we do not consider him in these connections. Out of the historical setting his work appears rather as a set of theorems than as concrete directions of action. From the discovery of a task of social practice as an concretehistorical base of the process of knowledge follows that also Marxist philosophy has the character of open structure, and that both in its historical content and in its historico-creative activity. In both respects it was Lenin who appeared to be most remarkable after Marx and Engels.
