Abstract
On the background of the class-political and ideological characteristics of the period of the national-democratic revolution and nameely of the Slovak National Insurrection some methodological questions of the research of the history of Marxist philosophy in general, and in Slovakia especially, are being analyzed. Some conceptions are criticized, namely when evaluating the place and tasks of those philosophers who upheld the antifashist political attitudes, but proclaimed non-Marxist, idealistic philosophical views. The importance of the scientific evaluation of the philosophical thinking of the past and its share in the positive forming of the consciousness of the socialist society is being proved. Some principles of the research of the history of philosophy in general and of the Marxist philosophy especially are being pointed out.
