Ethical Codexes of Corporations (Theoretical Problems of Their Formulation and Effectiveness)
Abstract
The paper explains the importance of the examination of the ethical codexes of Slovak and Czech corporations and of their enforcement in the economical life and outside. It examines also the grounds of their acceptance, their effeicacy and limits in comparison with the codexes of common morals. As the author argues, in the process of their articulation it is necessary to avoid intentionally the problematic and justification following from the principles of common ethics. It is the corporation ethics, which makes the cooperation of various ethical conceptions (such as fundamentally different religious morals) possible. Further, the author discusses also applying professional ethical codexes (contrary to the ethical codex of a corporation) inside corporations.
