Abstract
The article is devoted to the questions of limitation, possibilites of construction, and interpretation of exact language. The author sets forth three different characteristics of exact language and studies their adequacy. Formulating last two characteristics he employs the intuitive notion of effective procedure. Further, he deals with various ways how to fix the meaning .of language expressions (especially the axiomatic method and ostensive determination of meaning) and their influence on the semantical exactness of language. He endeavours to demonstrate that no language can be utterly exact from the viewpoint of semantics and points out the necessity to precise in relation with a certain problem or purpose.
