Abstract

In the paper the three basic kinds of understanding are analyzed: the reconstruction of the social significance and the person’s meaning of things and beings incorporated in the structure of human activity; the reconstruction of the sense and significance of the very human activity as the sense-giving substance; the reconstruction of social memory, fixed in inherited forces and relations of production and in sign systems.
