Abstract

The reflection of the ecological problem has put in question the traditional philosophical stances and was followed by debates about the fundamental philosophical categories and questions, as well as by the discussion of new methods and approaches. The paper outlines the conditions of an ecologically oriented approach requireing a radical philosophical turn. It explains, why the present ontological theories fail, and it describes also the characteristics of that presupposed turn.
