Abstract

In the paper the authors deal with the application of systems approach in psychology from the viewpoint of the place and function of cognitive activity. They apply the method of systems approach in cognitive psychology where mutual cooperation and determination of cognitive processes are discused. Systems approach in this sphere mostly results In the construction of models of higher cognitive processes — memory and thinking. Systems approach also gives possibilities of the complex research of decision processes. Methodological realization of systems approach in studying cognitive processes is the interfunctional principle which ensure their examination in many dimensions and on many levels.
