Abstract

In his paper the author attempts at an analysis of Kant’s opinions on time that he had formulated in Critique of Pure Reason and in Prolegomena to Every Future Metaphysics. After an explication of Kant’s theory of time he analyzes hie basic arguments and presuppositions by means of which he tries to justify apriority of time. By means of analyzing them he points out the way which led Kant to subjectivism and agnosticism. At the same time the author points out Kant’s merit in formulating the philosophical problems of time that played a positive role in the further development of philosophical thinking.
