Abstract
The discovery of new forms of existence of matter, of its new deeper structural components evoked a sharp contradiction in the sphere of the theories of natural sciences. This aspect, characterized as a crisis of science, stemmed, however, as V. I. Lenin proved, from the mechanistic and metaphysical approach to these facts and thus even many foremost natural scientists got to the platform of physical idealism. The starting point is a conscious application of the dialectic — materialistic principle, which is the only scientific philosophical basis of modern natural science. These thoughts form the basis of L. Szántó's philosophy of natural sciences.
