Abstrakt

Drawing on an international interdisciplinary conference Štúr, his followers, romanticists, national revivalists (carried out in 2015) the article analyzes the theoretical heritage of Ľ. Štúr. The author’s focus is on several aspects of Štúr’s activities in the pre- and post-revolutionary periods in the 40s of the 19th century. A special attention is paid to Štúr’s efforts to establish the official national Slovak language, as well as to Slovak and Slavonic nationalisms and their theoretical roots.
