In the axiothetical process, subjects takes his bearings in the world of things which surrounds him and, at the same time, he enters into the conflictive relation of the given and the possible, of the present and the future. Values of spiritual-ideal meaning have a character of the utmost abstraction and they also determine the quality of the individual and communities. By means of belief, they become an ontologizing factor. Need and desire stimulate the birth of all values, whether material or ideal. The material ones move more in the sphere of the vital present, the ideal ones pulsate more in the demand upon the future. The radical openness of history requires the acceptance of the human future without prospects, i. e., without limits, which cannot yet have any content. In the primitive thought, this shortcoming was compensated in the form of myth. As a rule, ideologies intentionally fill this space, until now, with a manipulated belief according to the official and contemporary criteria. In the European context of culture, the act of belief is a productive tool of its dynamism. It appears as early as in the old Jewish-Christian tradition. Human belief is a form of man’s projection into the future and, in this way, it forms a basis for the motivation of his behavior in the present time. The antithesis of science and belief is inadequate, if we have in mind belief as a human constant. Insufficiency of practice in life always opens enough room for the requirements of belief. Christian transcendence maintains the core of the controversy between the present time and the future in the metamorphosis of a human-divine principle. The variety of forms of the immersion into the reality of being enforces the respecting of the variety of forms of perception and sensation of the world according to the quality of being. Plurality of human consciousness continues. Schemes come to life and die.
