Abstrakt
The author deals in this paper with the problems of space and time in the history of philosophical thinking. He presents the archaistic conception of space and time and demonstrates some of its moments — personification and the magicality. The conception of absolute space and time in history emphasizes, first of all, the conception of space and time as a precondition of the existence of matter. The conception of relational space and time on the other hand, emphasizes the conception of space and time as a form of existence of matter. The dialectical-materialistic conception surpasses the previous one-sided conceptions by its concept of space and time as a mode of existence, i. e. the dialectical pnity of form and precondition of existence of matter. The author points out the danger of a possible emphasizing of only some moments of space and time. At the same time he raises objections againts Mostepanenko’s solution of the problems of space and time as a unity of form and condition of the existence of matter. Mostopanenko, in spite of the that he starts from the recognition of the existence of the levels of reality, comes to some substantial difficulties in solving this problem. His solution isinsufficient because it is a solution only for macro-reality and also because in result of a not precise definition of the notion of level of reality his solution brings about mechanistic conclusions. The author tries to replace positively these difficulties by solving this problem. The author deals briefly with the conception of space and time that refuses the recognition of space and time for microprocesses. He calls it eliminative conception of space and time. He points out that the dialectical-materialistic conception of space and time and the theory of levels of reality refuse eliminative conception of space and time.
