Abstract

In the paper the author generalizes the resolutions of the plenary sessions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia concerning ideological questions (March—April 1980). He criticizes the efforts of bourgeois and revisionist philosophy to negate basic principles of dialectical materialism. He points out various variants of integrative tendencies of their opinions in the face of Marxist-Leninist philosaphy as well. Critical attention is paid to efforts for negation of Marxist-Leninist theory of knowledge and the basic precepts of historical materialism. In this connection the author analyzes critically the conceptions of Neo-Thomism, the critical theory, existentialism, positivism, philosophical revisionism, etc. He shows how misinterpretations of dialectical and historical materialism lead logically to the negation of scientific communism. In the end he formulates the main tasks which ought to be solved in the present time by Marxist-Leninist philosophy.
