Abstract

The paper has . a character of reminiscence. The author is reflecting the process of forming Andre] Sirácky’s personality as a Marxist, scientist, philosopher, sociologist, pedagogue, ideologist and a man of public affairs under the complicated political and social conditions — in Prague, Petrovec and Bratislava. In the end it is pointed out that during the forming of personality science, the scientist and society become more and more unified process within which neither one component ever loses its significance.
