Abstract

In the contribution some topical philosophic and methodologic problems which are brougth by contemporary impetuous development of astronomy are studied. The author, starting from the dialectical-materialist relation of philosophy and natural sciences, is reflecting problems of revolution in astronomy., he analyzes some aspects of the dialectics of cognizing of evolutionary processes in the Universe, philosophic-methodologic problems of the relativist cosmology — the problem of extrapolation, cosmologic modelling, scientific idealization, etc. In the final part of the paper philosophic and methodologic problems of the research of extra-terrestrial civilizations are treated.
