Abstrakt

In the paper some problems of eidolons in posteleatic philosophy of nature are scrutinized on the background of several pluralistic explanations of reality reaching from that of Empedocles to epicurean atomism. Further, it shows the fundamental impact these explanations exercised on the conceptions of eidolons. The difficulties resulting from proclaimed nature of eidolons and their functioning within the given conception of reality are outlined as well.
