The author’s starting point is the difference between what he calls „haptic“ sense perception (from the Greek haptó - I touch), i. e. the touch, in which all things are of equal size and shape, and optic sense perception, which sees things in perspective, minifying those seen from a long distance and magnifying those seen from a short distance.
