Abstrakt

The idea of the integrity of personality and the problem of human subjectivity are mutually connected. The integrated, all-roundly developing personality simultaneously expresses the abundance of its inner harmonious development of its subjective dispositions. However, both integrity and the development of personality’s subjectivity are determined historico-socially. This is due to the character, ramification of historical-social practice in general and the division of labour in particular. They are connected with the harmonious (or disharmonious) development of human activities which determine the development of the totality of the personality. If social conditions give preference to the development of certain activities — regarded as privileged, from the viewpoint of the given class — then also the personality itself is developing in their boundaries. It is an advantage of the classics of Marxism-Leninism that, starting from the scientific methodology and revolutionary worldview, they identified the dialectics of the development of the integrity and subjectivity of the personality on the basis of the totality of human activities.
