Abstrakt

In opposition to Marxism, which reveals class contradictions between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat in the semblance of rationality of capitalist relations as their perverted form, bourgeois social science finds in the abstract principle of rationality the very substance of capitalism. While historical materialism unveils mechanisms of the rise of irrationality of bourgeois society through the analysis of its perverted forms and shows the way how to overcome them, bourgeois scientists are kept in the tenets of these irrational forms. When Marxism points at inevitability of liquidation of the economic set-up, based on production of surplus values, bourgeois science goes on speaking of preservation or improvement of formal rationality. And finally, where Marxism proved scientifically the necessity of doing away with the whole super-structure system of capitalism which became an instrument for superiority of bourgeoisie, bourgeois philosophers and sociologists strive to prove its social neutrality and consider its perfectioning as the next step in „rationalization“ of contemporary capitalism.
