Abstract

In his paper the author concentrates on Hrušovský’s efforts in the theory of science. He analyzes Hrušovský’s model of science which is connected with philosophical thinking in the first place. According to I. Hrušovský, it is the task of the theory of science to study the logical and empirical aspect of science. Theoretical basis rests upon developing axiomatic systems. Empirical basis rests, in turn, upon syntax and semantics of scientific language.
