Abstrakt

In the paper the author makes difference between a broader and a narrower conception of structure. In the narrower conception of structure he accentuates the lay out (geometry) of elements within the whole. He identifies the broader conception of structure with essential links, relations and Interactions between the elements of the objects which form its substance and its law. He brings the notion „function“ in connection with those aspects of the object that concern its aim, direction and purpose. He shows that open systems in particular represent aim reaction. He conceives the notion „system“ as a complete whole, as the object consisting of elements between which there exist certain relations, connections and interactions which represent its own structure. In connection with differentiated analyses of the system the author also discusses its various levels.
