Abstract

It is the aim of the paper to show by means of the analysis of the style of thinking in modern biology how the principle of dialectical contradiction is integrated innerly in contemporary biological knowledge and thinking and what significance it acquires for its further development. It becomes clear that changes in logical-methodological foundations tending towards dialectization of biology are put Into life when solving theoretical problems of biological evolution, when forming the unity of the systems and historical approach, when understanding more thoroughly the systematic and complex character of the living system, in questions of reductionism and when solving specific points of organic determinism.
